A vibrant and inspiring consultative gathering on Bahá’í literature took place on 25-29 September 2025 at the Upanga Bahá’í Centre in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The event brought together participants from 13 different African countries, reflecting the spirit of unity in diversity that lies at the heart of the Bahá’í Faith.
The gathering provided a space for writers, translators, educators, and distributors to explore ways of enhancing the accessibility, quality, and impact of Bahá’í literature across various languages and cultures. Participants shared insights on how literature can serve as a powerful tool for spiritual education, community building, and the promotion of moral values.
Throughout the consultation, themes of collaboration, creativity, and coherence with the teachings of Bahá’u’lláh were emphasized. The diversity of perspectives enriched the discussions, fostering a deeper appreciation for the universal relevance of Bahá’í writings in today’s world.
The gathering concluded with renewed enthusiasm and a collective commitment to strengthen efforts in the production, translation, and dissemination of Bahá’í literature to support the spiritual and intellectual advancement of communities worldwide.
